Okay.....so I haven't been as diligent in blogging as I should have been. Part of the problem (here come the excuses) is that I have another blog spot (not nearly as cool) over at "myspace" but that one is mostly about my desire and failure to return my body to its chiseled 19-year-old state. I would, in fact, like to at least slim down a bit. 30 pounds would be great but I'd settle for 15 or 20. But I'll leave that discussion for "myspace".
So what have I been doing in the last 3 months? My very exciting life consists of vacuuming the fishies off the floor before they get ground-in, keeping the chairs free of peanut-butter, and getting the laundry folded and put away before the next batch. (Yes, it actually happens but only because I only have 2 boys instead of 3 or more. I understand that when you have more than 2 children the laundry becomes an endless cycle.) I also have been getting a lot more business lately with web-design clients which has been good as well, but also time consuming. In addition, I have teamed up with a few great minds to create a new business to help authors get a quick, one-page website and some publicity but the business isn't up off the ground yet.
I never new how much junk-mail one person or company generated simply because they have registered with the state a license for the company. It's insane. No, I don't need a company credit card! I have my laptop and my brain. That's all I need! (....and my thermos...) J.K.
The lastest craziness in my house is my husband and I are trying to train the now 5-year-old to quit peeing at night. We were under the assumption that his body would just quit doing that after potty-training, but clearly he doesn't. We think the night pull-ups must be a crutch, so we've invested in the plastic bedsheet and more undies. I am hoping that if he keeps waking in his own uncomfortable urine, his body will get the clue and shut off the water-works when it's time to sleep. He's fine during the day. Has been for 2 years now. It's just the nightly thing that gets him. I need to read up on it to see if there's anything more we can do to help him.
Well, fellow bloggers....I know this wasn't the most exciting of blogs, but I need to make it more of a habit to blog! I would much rather type than write in my journal. It's quicker and I don't get writer's cramp this way. Plus you can actually read my writing! I write like a boy. But that's a subject for another day. Thanks for reading!
